Carol and Mike attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia and raised their children in the Washington, DC area - spending summers in the Outer Banks in the 80's and 90's. They realized their dream several years ago of a permanent move to the Outer Banks. They share a love of the beach and nature, and want to share that love with you.

Jack Marshall, Broker/Owner of Shore Advantage Realty holds a Master of Arts degree in Education from East Carolina University. After several years of work as a teacher with the public school system, and as Children's Social Worker and Counselor, Jack earned his North Carolina Broker’s license and has consistently been one of the top producing agents in the Outer Banks Association of Realtors.

His family has owned Outer Banks property since the 1940s, and he has wonderful childhood memories of summers on the beach with parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jack enjoys participating in recreational activities such as surfing, kayaking, and nature photography. He has traveled extensively throughout the continental United States as well as the state of Hawaii, and the Countries of New Zealand and Costa Rica. Jack and his wife Ashley keep busy at home with their four young children.
